OpenAI’s chatbot faced another downtime today, users across the nations faced disruption while using the app or website. Everyone was asking “Is ChatGPT working?”
According to the Downdetector, a platform which tracks online services issues reported downtime after 11:00 AM IST. Users everywhere faced difficulties while opening app and website, while some were able to open app and website but were getting error messages like network issue.
More than 500 users in India reported the issue while trying to use platform. While users from Europe and USA also raised similar error problem.
As per the data reported by Downdetector, around 80-85% users of ChatGPT faced the issue while opening and using the app and website while 10-12% faced problem like slow surfing.
Memes on ChatGPT started trending
While many users around the world expressed frustration over downtime, others took it to social media platforms like X and Instagram with humor. Many users were reporting direct impact on their work while others were busy circulating memes with friends and collogues
One user wrote ‘ChatGPT is down and I’m forced to use my brain’ while another user wrote ‘I can be fired anytime from my job, since ChatGPT is down.
While most users were facing ChatGPT down issue, many users were smoothly using the ChatGPT.
